Book your half-day diving experience in Sal, Cape Verde

Summary: Dived with this dive centre last year so booked to go this year. Once again it was an excellent experience, the staff were very welcoming, the process of filling in the pre-dive paperwork to getting on the bought was well organised and straightforward. The dive sites we went to were different from last year and were fantastic, they were Pontinha and lost anchor. The dive guide we had was brilliant as well, unfortunately I can’t remember her name (she was from Germany). Great pre dive briefing, explaining the dive location and what we would expect to see during the dive. During the dive she took time to point out interesting marine life and made sure everyone on the dive got to see it before moving on. I highly recommend this company if you are diving in Cape Verde, if I visit the country again I will be diving with them again. Thanks to all the team at Cabo Verde Diving

Summary: Great instruction from Fernando at the Diving School. Everything was explained clearly and plenty of time was given to practise all the safety exercises before venturing out. The actual dive was wonderful: down to a shipwrecked fishing boat to see all of the beautiful marine life that surrounds it. A highlight of our holiday!

Summary: Cabo Verde Dive School provided an excellent service from start to finish. All of the staff were very friendly. The dive brief was clear and the guides were very helpful on the boat. Amazing dive spots seeing turtle, nurse shark, lots of stingray and pufferfish and a good wreck dive. Summary: I can’t highly recommend these guys enough, what a great dive team. As someone who just passed the open water course in April 2024 in Scotland and only dived as part of the course, this was my first recreational dive and first dive abroad. I was a little nervous but the team at Cabo Verde diving put me at ease straight away. From the pick up at the hotel I was made to feel welcome and the guys who checked me in for the dive welcomed me like an old friend and put me at ease. It was an easy process from filling in paperwork to getting the dive equipment I needed - suit, fins, bcd regs - to getting to the dive boat. The dive sites we went to were amazing, visibility was incredible. We dived 3 Grotes (3 caves), santa antao wreck (twice) and Farrol. (I went on 2 dive days). Plenty to see on the dives, highlights for me were the pufferfish school at Santa Antao and the turtle at 3 grotes - that has to be one of the best moments I have ever experienced. I have it on video as well which i am delighted about. I have plenty of photos of the pufferfish also. We seen rays and nurse sharks under some of the rocks, however I couldn’t get a decent photo of them which is unfortunate. I will definitely be back to dive with these guys again and would recommend if you are ever in Sal for diving, they are the people to go with. Thank you for an amazing dive experience!! Summary: After getting my SSI open water diver brevet in the Netherlands, I booked my first sea diving experience @carboverdediving. From the first moment I arrived the feeling was good and safe. I booked 2 days with a total of 4 dives. The diving spots were amazing and I have seen the most amazing underwater wildlife, from dolphins, stingrays, sharks, turtles to a giant manta ray. During the boottrip and dive the support of the crew was great, with a big commitment to Jorge Andrade who made the total diving experience perfect.

Summary: I did the intro to diving (as it had been four years since my last dive and if it has been more than one year since your last dive they ask that you complete this) along with three ocean dives. The instructors and staff at Cabo Verde Diving were really relaxed, friendly and created a positive atmosphere both above and below water. I saw stonefish, pufferfish, a shark, a ray, turtles and more. it was a brilliant reintroduction to scuba and I would recommend going with Cabo Verde Diving! The whole experience was simply marvellous!
